Aishwarya Rai says ‘only one caste, one religion, one language’ at Sathya Sai Baba’s centenary celebrations, touches PM Modi’s feet

To mark the occasion, a grand event took place in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, which was attended by dignitaries like PM Narendra Modi, Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and actor Aishwarya Rai, among others. The actor addressed the massive crowd that gathered for the celebration and even thanked the PM for his attendance.Aishwarya said at the event, “There is only one caste, the caste of humanity. There is only one religion, the religion of love. There is only one language, the language of the heart, and there is only one God, and he is omnipresent.”She acknowledged the far and wide impact Sai Baba has had on his devotees and how she truly believes that his teachings are still with them all, years after his passing. She said, “On this historic and sacred occasion of the centenary celebrations of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, my heart is filled with deep devotion and gratitude. I am looking forward to listening to your wise words, impactful and inspiring as always, to enthral us this morning. Your presence here adds sanctity to this celebration and reminds us of Swami’s message. That true leadership is service, and service to man is service to God,” said Aishwarya. He often talked about the five essential qualities needed for a meaningful, purposeful and spiritually anchored life. Discipline, dedication, devotion, determination, and discrimination as being able to tell between right and wrong.”Sathya Sai Baba was a religious leader and philanthropist. He claimed that he was the reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba and left home at the age of 14.
