One of the things that has almost always differentiated Samsung from Apple was its two-pronged launch schedule. While Apple announces iPhones in the autumn every year, Samsung has historically held two major yearly launch events. One Galaxy Unpacked takes place in January-March, and the other in July-September.Samsung may soon face Apple twice a year. Reports citing Bloomberg claim that the US tech giant is seeking to split the launch of its future iPhones into two yearly events. The first yearly launch event for Apple will take place in the spring, and the other in the fall.More specifically, Apple will unveil the Pro-labeled iPhones, i.e., the iPhone 18 Pros, in the fall of 2026. This fall launch event could also host the first foldable iPhone.Then, Apple will launch the standard iPhone 18 in the spring of 2027. This is when and where a sequel to the iPhone 16e and the iPhone Air 2 may also be announced.
