Global showbiz figure Sophie Turner is slated to star in a heist for Prime Video named Steal. Along with Sophie, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd also stars in the six-episode series, and Archie Madekwe, in a prominent role, is poised to hit the platform on 21 January. In fact, the first-look photographs of the lead cast were shared by the creators on their social media handles on Tuesday.In the heist, Sophie Turner stars as a common worker, Zara, who has been caught during a tough working day in the middle of a heist at Lochmill Capital, a pension fund investment firm. Turmoil outspread when a gang of aggressive robbers compelled Zara and her best friend, Luke (as Archie Madekwe), to carry out their demands, leaving them wondering who would steal billions of pounds from common people’s pensions.The plotline said that Jacob Fortune-Lloyd has been cast as DCI Rhys, leading the probe, who is committed to finding out the answer, but as a relapsed gambling addict, he must keep his own money issues at bay while facing secret agendas and competing interests at the center of this far-reaching crime.However, for those who are unaware, the series is produced by executive producers Greg Brenman and Rebecca De Souza with support from Nuala O’Leary, Drama Republic, and Amazon MGM Studios, who are co-producing.Furthermore, she is globally known for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones and was previously seen in the movie Trust, unveiled in August, as well as for playing Lara Croft in Amazon MGM Studio’s next Tomb Raider series.
