The 37th death anniversary of the former MLA Bapugouda Darshanapur was celebrated at Charabasaveshwar Vidyavardhak Sangha in Shahapur on Saturday.Political leaders from various parties lauded the late Darshanapur for his commitment to giving social justice to all communities.The former MP Umesh Jadhav and farmer leader Kedaralingaiah Hiremath remembered the public life of the late veteran leader and said that Bapugouda Darshanapur was a kind of politician who had the rare quality of extending selfless service to society throughout his political career.Bapugouda Darshanapur had put in hectic efforts to reach irrigation to dry land through canals of the Upper Krishna Project. And, the commitment that he showed was unparalleled.
