Galaxy Z Fold 7, Fold 6, Flip 7, and Flip 6 get November 2025 security update

Samsung is rolling out new software updates to its smartphones with foldable displays from this year and last, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Z Flip 6. These updates offer the November 2025 security patch, which fixes 25 vulnerabilities that were present in the previous version of the operating system. Samsung is currently offering the latest updates for these devices in South Korea (via Tarun Vats). We expect the brand to release it in other regions in the next few days. To get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once released, we will make the new firmware files available in our database for you to download.Samsung is developing One UI 8.5 for Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Based on a new version of Android (Android 16 QPR2), it offers many new user interface elements and features, which you can check out in our video below. As you might expect, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are eligible to get it.Samsung is expected to debut it with the Galaxy S26 series, which the brand is said to launch in February 2026. Soon after the launch, the company may start rolling out the new software to eligible devices.
