That collapse proved decisive as Pakistan A cruised past the finish line in just 13.2 overs, riding on an unbeaten 79 from left-handed opener Maaz Sadaqat, who had also picked up a couple of wickets earlier. India’s pacers couldn’t cause early dents in the defence, leaking boundaries and extras as Jitesh Sharma-led India suffered a heavy defeat. Sadaqat came back to the middle and continued on his merry way to power Pakistan A into the semifinal with two wins out of two. India A will have to beat Oman in their next match to confirm their place in the last four.Earlier in the day, players of both teams on Sunday avoided handshakes before the start of their match as well post match, continuing the trend started by the senior sides during the Asia Cup in September. Both team went their separate ways after the national anthems.
