Live racing at Aqueduct has been cancelled following Race 2 on Sunday due to high winds currently impacting the New York City metropolitan area, according to a New York Racing Association, Inc. release.The National Weather Service forecast calls for sustained high winds and gusts in excess of 40 mph.The GIII Pebbles Stakes, which will be run at 1 1/16-miles on the outer turf, and the Forever Together Stakes will be brought back on Sunday, Nov. 2. Entries to be taken on Wednesday, Nov. 19.Aqueduct Racetrack will remain open for simulcasting and wagering is also available via www.NYRABets.com.Live racing is slated to resume Thursday at Aqueduct with a nine-race card.
