The same historical patterns have been repeating since the beginning of time. BUT… it’s just as important to remember that every market has its own personality. And because of that, certain trading styles or patterns will naturally perform better in some markets than others. The principles stay the same, but the behavior you’re applying them to can look very different. For example, one of the styles I gravitate toward is harmonic patterns. They tend to show up during periods of consolidation, and with Nvidia currently tightening up ahead of earnings this Wednesday, it’s no surprise we’ve got one forming right now.
