Popular Las Vegas dog groomer, Lissette Bridge, found herself as the latest examples of the disturbing trend when she took to the platform to announce that she reported her mechanic to the police for sexual harassment. Both Lissette and Manny Ramos, the owner of the tire shop, are fluent in Spanish, so there was an initial sense of kinship and comfort, admittedly more on Ramos’ side than Lissette. Lissette alleged that the two initially came to an agreement for $300, and when she asked how best she can pay, things took a dark twist. Lissette explained on Tiktok, “That’s when he proceeds to tell me — all this happened in Spanish, mind you — ’I take cash, CashApp, Venmo, Apple Pay, cuerpo.’ Cuerpo meaning body — as in a body payment.” Lissette was obviously offended. In her Tiktok video she expressed how she was quick to tell Ramos that she is able to pay her bills and doesn’t have to resort into such lengths for a $300 bill. There’s always a silly story ever so often about some random person who decided to call the police on their Uber driver — so from that perspective, it’s easy to see why some people were dismissive of Lissette’s claims in the comments. However, according to Lissette, even Ramos’s son had grown weary of just how many times his father had courted controversy at their place of work and even offered her an apology. Motor1 followed up on the allegations and reached out to Ramos himself. The mechanic claimed that while his statements were not flirtatious at all, he does apologize for the misunderstanding that he might have caused by his words. Ramos only admitted to making a joke about her job as a dog groomer. Ramos said, “I don’t go to get my hair done, my beard done, my nails done even once a month, because I’m too busy. And those dog owners take them like three or four times a month. That’s why I said, ‘What a lucky dog.’” Lissette, who is now seeking legal means to solve this issue, did not comment further beyond the Tiktok post.
