Samsung has a two-decade long partnership with the Royal Caribbean cruise line, supplying more than 200,000 TVs and displays across the company's global fleet. The two companies have worked together on Royal Caribbean's Star of the Seas, which is said to be the world's largest cruise ship, equipping it with thousands of Samsung's hospitality TVs and digital signage. In addition to the aforementioned spaces, these displays have also been installed in the onboard lounges and theaters.The Samsung Crystal UHD Hospitality TVs have been designed specifically for commercial environments. These TVs deliver 4K UHD resolution while also working as a central information hub in the room, delivering a personalized message for every guest, daily activity schedules, destination information, weather, and emergency updates.Beyond that, these TVs also have support for Google Cast, Apple AirPlay, LYNK Cloud, and Smart Hub. This enables users to easily stream content from their own devices. Samsung TV Plus, the company's free, ad-supported TV streaming service is also present.Throughout its two-decade long partnership with the cruise line, Samsung has supplied more than 200,000 hospitality TVs and signage solutions. More than 6,000 of these products were also supplied for Icon of the Seas, which is the sister ship to Star of the Seas, and set sail back in 2024.
