Malawi Airlines, the national carrier of the Republic of Malawi, has announced the launch of a new direct flight service between Entebbe, Uganda and Lilongwe, Malawi, effective 15th December 2025.This strategic route is designed to enhance regional connectivity and foster stronger ties in trade, tourism, and cultural exchange between Malawi and Uganda, as well as the broader Southern and Eastern African region.According to a press statement from Malawi Airlines, the service will operate four times weekly — on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday — offering passengers convenient access to onward connections via Lilongwe to key destinations including Johannesburg, Harare, and Lusaka.“Malawi Airlines remains committed to expanding its regional footprint and delivering reliable, customer-focused air travel across Africa,” the statement reads in part, adding that passengers can now book their flights through the Malawi Airlines website Mobile Application (available on the App Store and Google Play), Sales Offices, or authorized travel agents across the region.
