Seismic recordings at Planchón-Peteroa volcano on 17 November (image: SERNAGEOMIN)The Argentine Geological and Mining Service (SEGEMAR) reported that volcano-tectonic earthquakes increased at 22:10 local time on 17 November, continuing until 01:10 local time. These VT events are associated with rock fracturing within the volcanic system.
