Ally McCoist has lost his voice even when he’s not on the talkSPORT airwaves after celebrating Scotland qualifying for the World Cup.The Breakfast host described his trip across the pond as a ‘road trip to remember’, but the Tartan Army might have ensured it wouldn’t have been. Just so happy, so happy!”McCoist will no doubt be back in the US watching Scotland next summer – assuming his Vegas antics don’t get too out of hand.The former forward, who scored 19 goals for the Tartan Army across 61 caps for his country, was part of the squad at the 1990 World Cup.The Rangers hero was then famously left out by Craig Brown eight years later, which was Scotland’s most recent appearance at the tournament.McCoist and the Scotland players will be partying long into the night, albeit in different locationsClarke’s current squad have now etched their place in Scottish folklore, and the man himself couldn’t be prouder.Clarke told BBC Scotland: “Really simple – what a fantastic group of players. If I give myself a bit of credit, I chose the right way.“We chose more caps, more experience. When you come to a night like this, when you’re behind and struggling, and not sure it’s going to happen, I trust my players.“I’ve told them so many times, I trust them implicitly.“I woke up this morning, and as a manager you normally wake up with that tight feeling in your stomach. I didn’t have it this morning, and I thought ‘wow, that’s strange.“I thought there was something wrong with me! But it’s because I trust my players so much.”
