Bitcoin: $75K or $95K - dip buyers will decide Bitcoin / U.S. dollarBITSTAMP:BTCUSDXBTFXThe negative sentiment on the crypto market continues, with BTC reaching new lower grounds for this year. BTC erased all its yearly gains and is now traded in a highly oversold territory. However, analysts are in disagreement whether BTC reached its bottom of this move, or are the paths to even lower grounds still open? The concrete reason why this occurred is still somewhere in the gray zone. On one side are analysts who are noting that there is a general sell-off of tech stocks, including crypto, where investors are concerned of its overvaluation. However, two days ago news hit the market where JPMorgan warns that MicroStrategy could be kicked out of major equity indexes after MSCI’s upcoming January 15th review, risking billions in forced outflows. Anyway, the sentiment on the crypto market remains negative for the moment. BTC started the previous week by trying to hold the $95K level, however, it soon dropped down to the $90K support and till the end of the week, reached its low at the $80K support level. The coin is closing the week around $84K. The RSI went into the highly oversold zone, where it held for the last two weeks. Both MA50 and MA200 are moving as two parallel lines with a downtrend. There is still no indication of a potential cross in the near-term period. Charts for BTC are quite tricky at this moment. If we ask charts whether BTC has finished its corrective moves, at this moment, charts would say - no. Namely, a strong move toward the $80K has opened a path toward the $75K, which was the lowest level reached in April this year. There is some probability that this level might be reached in the next 2-3 weeks, or maybe even next week. There is also some probability for a move toward the upside. If dip buyers step on the scene, a probable move could be between $90K till $95K, but not higher from these levels. Long term - BTC will recover, but short-term there is high risk that the move toward the downside is still not over. Precaution is necessary.
