Pacific Northwest. But bad hospital food isn’t the norm around here in my experience. The one we usually go to (closer city) has amazing options in the cafeteria. And a massive selection of hot sauces/salsa, in case you need to zsush things up! But I had to switch to a smaller hospital with a NICU and Birthing Center due to the circumstances, and that’s where I ran into the weird “let’s fry or microwave everything” menu. The nurses cracked up when they saw my husband bring in a tiny micro-fridge for condiments, because the cafeteria never had any.
