Samsung’s latest version of One UI for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, One UI 8.5, brings a new version of Samsung Internet that offers a revamped, much sleeker-looking user interface. Well, the brand is now rolling out an update to it, which brings a change that makes the web browser much more convenient to use.The update carries version 29.0.2.76 and moves the icon for opening a new tab from the top-right corner of the display to the bottom-right corner of the screen, as you can see in the images below (via Tarun Vats). With it, reaching the New Tab icon becomes much easier, especially when you are using the device with just one hand. The update may have brought other changes. However, the repositioning of the New Tab icon is the only one we have been able to spot so far. To update Samsung Internet to the latest version, open the Galaxy Store, navigate to Menu > Updates, and tap on the Update all button.Note that this Samsung Internet update is available only for devices running the beta version of One UI 8.5, which, at the moment, are three: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. It is also worth pointing out that on One UI 8, Samsung Internet offers the New Tab button at the bottom. The post Samsung Internet update for One UI 8.5 brings a welcome change appeared first on SamMobile.
