He shared an old association with gangster Bishnoi, dating back to their college days.Four accused allegedly involved in the murder of Inderjit Singh, alias Parry, in Sector 26 on December 1, 2025, have been brought to Chandigarh on production warrants from jails in Delhi and Ambala.The accused were produced before a district court, which granted the police seven days remand for further investigation.The accused brought on a production warrant include Panchkula resident Piyush Piplani (28), Kunwarbir (30) from Amritsar, and Gopal and Shivam from Faridkot. According to police, production warrants for three other accused — Ankush (23) from Panchkula, Lovepreet Singh (26) from Naraingarh and Santokh alias Kapil Khatri (29) from Tarn Taran — are still awaited. They will also be brought to Chandigarh soon for questioning, police sources.Police investigations have revealed that Piplani and Ankush were the main shooters in the murder, while Kunwarbir was driving the car used in the crime. The other accused allegedly provided logistical support to the gang, including arranging weapons, vehicles, mobile phones and SIM cards, sheltering the shooters, and planning further criminal activities.Soon after the murder, posts surfaced on social media in which the Lawrence gang claimed responsibility for the killing. Subsequently, an alleged call recording of a conversation between Lawrence and Parry also went viral. Later, voice recordings of gangsters Goldy Brar and Harry Boxer emerged, in which they were heard accusing each other and exposing internal gang rivalry.After the murder, Gopal and Shivam were arrested by Panchkula police. They are accused of providing pistols, mobile phones, SIM cards and vehicles to the shooters. Police records show that one of them is involved in a drug trafficking case in Punjab, while the other has two criminal cases related to assault and brawling.During the arrests, Delhi Police’s Special Cell recovered four pistols from the accused. Police officials said all the accused are linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s close associates Harry Boxer and Arju Bishnoi. They had reportedly gathered in Delhi to plan a fresh criminal operation when they were arrested by the Special Cell.Story continues below this adOn December 1, 2025, around 6.30 pm, Inderjit Singh alias Parry, a resident of Sector 33, had stepped out of a club in Sector 26. As he sat in his car and moved a short distance, a shooter who was already seated inside fired multiple shots at him from close range. After carrying out the attack, the accused fled the spot in a Creta car.Parry had several criminal cases registered against him in Chandigarh and Punjab. He shared an old association with gangster Bishnoi, dating back to their college days.
