Soaring raw material costs, particularly for cocoa, dairy, wheat, and sugar, along with increased operational expenses, squeezed profit margins for both companies. Mondelez India saw its net profit plummet to ₹11 crore, while Parle Biscuits' net profit dropped by 39%.
