I had major surgery two years ago, took me a long time to recover, my husband isn’t good at cleaning so had to hire a housecleaner. Around 1600sqft of house. Her quote was $100, which I felt was too little, and she uses her own products and equipment. I kept her on as she can do in 2-1/2 hours what it took me 3 days to do and I pay her $130 for every two weeks, which I still think is not enough, but it’s all I can afford right now. I’m so grateful for her. She gets double on her birthday and Christmas. I’m hoping to get her up to $150 soon. Pay them, they’re worth every penny! Especially if you’re an older woman, I’m 73, and just don’t have the energy anymore.
