Sujoy Paul has taken oath as the new Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court. West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose administered the oath. Justice Paul was appointed a judge on July 18, 2025. He was previously serving as the Acting Chief Justice. This marks a significant transition for the high court.
