(AP Photo)US President Donald Trump on Saturday said that he would impose a 10% import tariff on eight European countries, including the UK, France, Germany, Denmark from February 1 for opposing US control of Greenland.In a post on Truth Social, the US president said, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Finland would face the tariff, which would be raised to 25% on June 1 if a deal is not in place for “the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland” by the United States.Trump further said, “These Countries, who are playing this very dangerous game, have put a level of risk in play that is not tenable or sustainable.
