Then putting in some sort of work in return for free money seems fair enough. If they are able bodied, work is where they can earn money to support their kids vs. having another kid. It might not be PC to say so, but some have always had more kids for the bigger check. And that does not confine itself to anyone group. I'm not against anyone having more children nor against food and shelter as a birthright. But let's be real, some people do take advantage of a system, and so, if able bodied, volunteer hours and/or working part time for it, seems fair enough. (And there are things people can do from home, so the kids won't lack supervision.) People who did not have children because they could not afford a decent lifestyle for them, even who stayed celibate in some cases; but who pay for other people's children, are understandably miffed at the conditions some parents bring kids into, to get a bigger check.
