We have a different scenario right now, with Bitcoin being held by ETFs and treasuries companies, but he also faces risks from AI, quantum computing coming closer, wallets being taken over due to old encryption keys, dev fight (bitcoin core versus Knots)... i dont know how to phrase this, but Bitcoin shinning time might have come to an end! the World is facing the possibilities of having another big war, governments are getting harsh laws against peoples freedoms, adn Bitcoin has never stood as "Store of Value" like we have thought all of this time... We need real hard money, impossible to trace, to stop, censorship resistant! Bitcoin RN has more than 50% of hash power centralized on one pool (ViaBTC), and also other pools are well known located, to take down the blockchain is easier than people like to think... On the other hand we still have MONERO, wich is private by design, been delisted of over 70 CEXs over the last couple of years, widely used as medium of exchange on the internet, had a nice run this 2026 january. Monero's chain is ASIC resistant, wich make minning not a good profitable activity like Bitcoin minning is... We might see the old adage of "the Flippening" become real, but not with ETH, instead with XMR!
