The Pulakeshinagar Police on Saturday arrested a 36-year-old woman for posting a misleading video on Facebook along with a caption that read “rowdy menace in Bengaluru”. The video, however, reportedly pertained to an incident that occurred in Uttar Pradesh two years ago.Based on a complaint filed by police sub-inspector Manoj Kumar, the police had recently registered a FIR charging her under section 353(1)(b) (statements conducing to public mischief) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.The police later traced the accused, identified as Shahjahan, to Konanakunte and arrested her.
