The family members have also not made any online transactions since Sunday, an official said.“We are trying to trace the family, but they have switched off all their devices and are off the grid. Several teams have been formed by Navi Mumbai and Pune police to track down the accused.The alleged road rage incident took place on September 13 at a traffic junction on the Mulund-Airoli road when a concrete mixer truck brushed a car bearing a Pune registration number.According to the police, two men in the car had an altercation with truck driver Chandrakumar Chavan and the cleaner, Prahlad Kumar, 22, a resident of Turbhe MIDC in Navi Mumbai. They allegedly forced Kumar into their vehicle, saying they were taking him to the police station. The SUV was registered in the name of Puja’s mother, Manorama.
