Reminds me of a friend who got catfished into an LTR with a much younger woman who "invited" him to fly to her parent's place in Manila. When he got there, he was treated like the savior of their entire family. Extended relatives who hadn't been seen in years showed up expecting handouts, and trips to the shops for him to buy stuff I begged him to drop this woman, but he was apparently too far gone into believing she "loved " him
