Also, a police officer claimed that some of the facts of the case were found ‘inconclusive’ in the post-mortem report (Representative image)More than a month after an 85-year-old citizen of the United Kingdom was found dead at a house in Jantar Mantar— near the Janata Dal United’s office — the Delhi Police on Monday said that they have registered an FIR under the sections of murder based on the woman’s post-mortem report.According to the police, the incident happened on July 30 at Bungalow number 7 in Jantar Mantar, named the ‘White house’.The woman, Pawline Crowther, was found lying on the floor of the servant quarters of the white bungalow, a police officer said. She was married to an Indian.“Blood was seen near the woman’s body, found lying near the foot of a bed,” the officer added.The officer also claimed that prima facie, it seemed that the woman fell off her bed, injured herself and died of injuries.“No case was registered at that time and her body was sent for post-mortem,” a senior police officer said.However, about 15 days ago, the post-mortem report of the woman was released, which didn’t ascertain the cause of death to be ‘natural’.Story continues below this adDoctors claimed that she had head injuries.
