A Gurgaon man recently shared a heartbreaking account of how he lost his wife and unborn child last month after she ignored symptoms like swelling in her legs, headaches, and stomach pain, which ultimately turned fatal. In a Reddit post by @r/gurgaon, the man shared the “nightmare of his life” after his wife started experiencing several health challenges. According to the man, his wife had ignored the doctor’s advice to keep a check on her diet and sleep after she conceived.“She was not keeping well for many days… swelling in her legs, headaches, stomach pain. Doctor had told her to come for check-ups, take rest, eat properly. But she never took it serious. Many times I told her also, but she just said, “this is normal, all women go through this.” She kept hiding her problems,” he wrote.Highlighting his wife’s growing-up years, the man shared that her parents asked her not to complain; eventually, she perceived the habit of seeking help as a weakness.“From childhood, her parents never gave her space, never listened. They told her always to keep quiet, never complain. She grew up thinking that asking for help is a weakness. Even with me, she never shared fully. During pregnancy, she thought she had to endure silently. And finally, at the time of delivery, her body gave up. Doctors said it was pre-eclampsia. If caught early, it could have been managed. But it was too late, and I lost both,” he added.Concluding the post, the man urged social media users to seek medical help when required. “Anyone who is struggling, please don’t keep pain inside. Talk to someone, take care of your mental health, and go to a doctor if needed. It can save your life and the life of your loved ones,” he wrote.See the post here:Lost my baby and wife… A lesson for everyonebyu/gabru_nerd ingurgaonAlso Read | ‘No racism, good air quality’: woman shares 9 reasons she moved back to India after 4 years in US and Europe, sparks debateThe video resonated with several users, prompting a deluge of reactions. “It takes so much courage to share this..
