The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert for six Telangana districts for Wednesday (September 24, 2025).The six districtsAccording to IMDs latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Jogulamba Gadwal districts. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in all 33 districts of the State.Hyderabad weather forecastMeanwhile, there will be a generally cloudy sky over Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours. “Moderate to heavy rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city towards evening or night. Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning and night hours.
