Disney guests have always loved a nighttime parade full of dazzling lights and incredible floats — from the iconic Main Street Electrical Parade to SpectroMagic, which ran from 1991 until 1999, and then again from 2001 until 2010. Guests loved the characters on the gorgeous floats to the music, the dancing, and everything in between. In 2015, a brand-new parade was introduced at Disneyland Resort as part of its Diamond 60th Anniversary Celebration. The Paint the Night Parade featured the song “When Can We Do This Again” from the Pixar film Wreck-It Ralph (2012), which made guests just want to jump up and dance along. And the floats could not be beat, featuring characters like Peter Pan, Buzz Lightyear, Lightning McQueen, Anna, Elsa, Belle, Ariel, and more.Credit: DisneyRelated: Disney’s Best Parade Is Getting a Dining Package!Much to guests’ dismay, despite its popularity, Paint the Night ended in 2017.
