The project seeks to use untapped gas for electricity in the country.Exxon operates the Stabroek Block with a 45% interest. Its partners Chevron and CNOOC hold 30% and 25%, respectively.Construction is in progress on the joint venture's fifth and sixth projects called Uaru and Whiptail, which are expected to begin production in 2026 and 2027, Exxon said.(Reporting by Sheila Dang in Houston; Editing by Nathan Crooks, Chizu Nomiyama and Richard Chang)Terms and Privacy PolicyPrivacy & Cookie SettingsMore InfoS&P Futures6,752.00 -0.50 (-0.01%)Dow Futures46,737.00 +13.00 (+0.03%)Nasdaq Futures25,003.00 0.00 (0.00%)Russell 2000 Futures2,481.10 -0.80 (-0.03%)VIX16.10 +0.65 (+4.21%)Gold3,776.90 +1.80 (+0.05%)PortfolioSign in to access your portfolioSign inTop gainersMTSR Metsera, Inc. 53.58 +20.26 (+60.80%)DGNX Diginex Limited 17.75 +4.15 (+30.51%)QMMM QMMM Holdings Limited 105.90 +23.06 (+27.84%)GGAL Grupo Financiero Galicia S.A. 32.03 +5.58 (+21.10%)BBAR Banco BBVA Argentina S.A. 9.85 +1.66 (+20.27%)Top losersCOMP Compass, Inc. 7.92 -1.48 (-15.74%)QUBT Quantum Computing Inc. 20.21 -3.06 (-13.15%)OPEN Opendoor Technologies Inc. 8.38 -1.19 (-12.43%)PTRN Pattern Group Inc.
