The Punjab & Haryana High Court has ruled that certain employees who retired before September 1, 2014, may still be eligible for higher pensions. This ruling applies to those who didn't exercise the joint option earlier, provided their employers contributed to the pension fund, they were pension fund members, and they didn't voluntarily exit the fund.
