Though set in Bengaluru, he avoids unnecessarily romanticising the city as many have done over the years. Instead, he masterfully makes the city co-exist with Chandra (Kalyani Priyadarshan), who has just moved there after living in Sweden for 20 years. Interestingly, the bustle and rush of the city serve as a perfect blanket for her, as she can only venture out at night. The collective rapport among Dominic, cinematographer Nimish Ravi, and editor Chaman Chakko works wonders in their brilliant ways of bringing uniqueness to different scenes, based on their respective tones, without adhering to a single style throughout.”Directed by Dominic Arun, Lokah is also the highest-grossing female-centric film in Indian cinema. Produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, the film also stars Naslen K. Gafoor, Sandy Master, Arun Kurian, and Vijayaraghavan in pivotal roles. The fantasy drama marks the first installment in Dulquer’s superhero cinematic universe.Click here to follow Screen Digital on YouTube and stay updated with the latest from the world of cinema.© IE Online Media Services Pvt Ltd
