The Angarika Township Plot Owners Welfare Association has decided to hold a dharna in Karimnagar on September 19 to protest against what it termed as alleged failure of the district administration to provide basic amenities like internal roads, drinking water supply and drainage system in the Angarika Township at Nusthulapur village near Karimnagar.Even more than three years after purchasing the plots in an open auction (first phase) conducted by the Telangana Rajiv Swagruha Corporation in 2022, essential amenities continue to elude the plot owners, said M Raghushankar Reddy, the president of the association.Despite submitting several representations to the authorities concerned, essential amenities have not been provided at the Angarika Township so far, he said.Published - September 18, 2025 07:59 pm IST
