Skywatchers are in for a treat this October. Two comets, C/2025 R2 (SWAN) and C/2025 A6 (Lemmon), may become visible to the naked eye. Both comets will approach Earth around October 21. The Orionid meteor shower will peak on October 22-23. The new moon on October 21 will provide dark skies. This rare triple event promises a spectacular sky show.
