The last day for filing nomination papers was Monday, and only one nomination was filed for each of the six constituencies.The six constituencies include Radhanpur, Amirgadh, Suigam, Deesa, Tharad and Bhabhar.Apart from Chaudhary from Radhanpur, others who were elected uncontested include Bhavabhai Rabari from Amirgadh, Muljibhai Patel from Suigam, Kamlaben Desai from Deesa, Parbatbhai Patel from Tharad and Ambaben Chaudhary from Bhabhar.According to the statement of Banaskantha Collector Mihir Patel, they received 50 forms for all the constituencies for the board of directors’ elections. The election for the board of directors is scheduled for October 10.The last date to withdraw nominations is September 29.
