Galaxy Z Fold SE gets a new AI feature with One UI 8 update

Samsung has just released the One UI 8.0 update to the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. Besides other new and improved features, the foldable phone has also received a new AI-powered feature that debuted with the Galaxy S25. The company also released the update to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 earlier today.Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition gets stable One UI 8.0 updateThe Android 16-based One UI 8 update is now available in South Korea. It comes with firmware version F958NKSU2CYI7 and brings the Now Brief feature to the foldable phone. It debuted earlier this year with the Galaxy S25 series, and it has now been released to the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The Now Brief feature displays information relevant to you, based on a particular time of the day. For example, it can display day's weather prediction, your calendary events and reminders, suggested videos and music playlists, and your Energy Score. Later in the day, it can display memories (photos and videos) you captured that day. It can also suggest news articles from Samsung News, based on your interest.If you have a Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition and live in South Korea, you can check for the One UI 8.0 update. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Once the update is finished downloading, tap the Install now button. The phone will then restart after a few minutes.Samsung could release the One UI 8.0 update to the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in China in the coming days.
