Samsung has started development of the One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. This revelation comes on the same day the company began rolling out the stable One UI 8 update to its foldable flagships from 2024, indicating that the company isn't wasting any time in setting its sights on the next One UI release. Interestingly, there appears to be no sign of One UI 8.5 firmware being developed for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 yet, but that's not to say Samsung is ignoring its latest Fold flagship. When it comes time for One UI 8.5 to be rolled out to existing users next year, the Fold 7 will almost certainly be the first Samsung foldable to receive the update.One UI 8.5 could bring notable UI changes to Samsung's proprietary apps.
