In the second of our three-part series about how to use your phone better, we walk through a few simple things you can do to declutter your device.Today we’re diving into what perhaps overwhelms me the most about my phone: decluttering all the excessive photos, files, apps, and unread emails. My own phone is in absolute disarray: I have just 37 GB left out of 256 of phone storage (gulp), and my iCloud has been begging me to upgrade it for years now. I’ve told it to “just chill” for far too long.To make your phone last as long as possible, our tech experts say it’s key to prevent the storage from reaching its capacity — which can ultimately take a toll on its overall speed and performance. So we’ll need to be brave and offload as much stuff as possible. And once we’ve pared it down to only the essentials, we’ll make sure our phones are well protected, too. Let’s begin.
