Three men held for stabbing youth inside government school in East Delhi’s Trilokpuri; one at large

The fourth accused remains at large, officers said.The case came to light when police received information from LBS Hospital regarding the admission of Rohit (23), a resident of Trilokpuri, with multiple stab wounds. He was later referred to AIIMS Trauma Centre for advanced treatment. The weapon used in the attack has been recovered, and the victim remains hospitalized, officers said.According to police, four men entered the school premises around 7:30 pm and attempted to attack Rohit (23), along with his friends Shivam and a 16-year-old boy, who were sitting inside the school.Abhishek Dhania, DCP (East), stated, “Four unidentified assailants scaled the boundary wall, abused the group, and suddenly attacked them. While Shivam and the juvenile managed to escape, the assailants surrounded Rohit and inflicted multiple stab injuries with a knife. Blood stains were found at the spot, and exhibits were lifted by the Crime Team for forensic examination. A case was registered for attempted murder.”During the investigation, eyewitnesses Shivam and the 16-year-old boy identified the attackers as the three accused, police said.On the motive behind the attack, DCP Dhania said, “The motive was traced to a quarrel between the victim and accused Rajeev’s brother Nihal a day earlier, which led the four accused to conspire and carry out the attack. The fourth accused, Aniket, has been identified and efforts are underway to apprehend him.
