Later, a purported video of the incident went viral on social media.The video shows the woman putting the national flag in a waste burning pile close to her house.Amroli police had lodged a complaint under section 2 of the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act and arrested the accused woman, identified as Soni, wife of Shambhu Thathera, a resident of Amroli and a native of Varanasi in UP.Citing preliminary probe, Amroli police inspector J B Vanar said that the woman has mental health issues.  “We have arrested the accused woman on Wednesday and produced her before court, which sent her to judicial custody,” Vanar said.“The woman is the mother of two children, and her husband works in a textile factory in Katargam.
