In the past, Asus has used Samsung Display’s QD-OLED display panels for gaming and professional monitors. Now, the Taiwanese brand is using it for a broadcast-grade monitor.Asus has unveiled the ProArt OLED PA27USD monitor. It features Samsung Display’s 27-inch QD-OLED panel with 4K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and a 1,000 nits peak brightness.According to Asus, the panel has 10-bit color depth, 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, color accuracy of a Delta E value of less than one, and support for HDR10 and HLG. One of the things that makes the ProArt OLED PA27USD a broadcast-grade monitor is that it offers a 12G SDI port, which is crucial for broadcasting companies. Another feature that makes it great for creators is the built-in motorised flip colorimeter. The ProArt OLED PA27USD also offers a Thunderbolt 4 port with 96W Power Delivery, two-way stands, and a monitor hood to reduce reflections.
