On September 15, Samsung kicked off the long-awaited rollout of the One UI 8 (Android 16) update (or the short-awaited, if you consider the fact that One UI 7 arrived barely five months ago instead of the usual year-long gap). The official rollout arrived after months of beta testing on the Galaxy S25 series and a shorter beta phase on a handful of other devices, including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy A55, among others. Most other eligible Galaxy devices, however, will skip beta testing entirely and jump straight from One UI 7 to One UI 8.
