Just 20 minutes ago, a 2.7-magnitude earthquake struck near Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel, Outaouais, Quebec, Canada. The tremor was recorded early afternoon on Monday, September 22nd, 2025, at 3:04 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 10.6 miles below the surface.The event was filed by the Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN), the first seismological agency to report it.Our monitoring service identified a second report from The Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS) which listed the quake at magnitude 2.8.
