(Don Somers/CBC Saskatchewan - image credit)Witnesses called Saskatoon police on Friday night to report a fight underway between two men and another group in the parking lot of a business in the 900 block of 22nd Street.When officers arrived around 10:15 p.m. CST, they found a 29-year-old man with multiple wounds, police said in a Monday news release. Witnesses reported that the second group, who fled the scene before officers arrived, were armed with a machete and bear spray.People on their way into the business, Granada Liquor, on Monday morning pointed out red stains still visible on the ground.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThree separate people told CBC they had watched video of the altercation on social media, and shared screengrabs from the video showing a man on the ground. The footage appeared to come from a security camera mounted over the entrance to the store.Police said the injured man is being treated in hospital for wounds that are serious but not life-threatening.
