State-owned NTPC has commissioned new solar projects totaling 359.58 MW in Gujarat and Rajasthan. This development increases the company's total installed and commercial capacity to over 85.5 GW. The commissioned projects are part of larger solar initiatives in Khavda and Nokh Sokar. NTPC aims to achieve 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032.
