This is just one of the secret One UI 8.5 features that Samsung hasn’t shown yet

It's been about a week since Samsung launched the One UI 8.5 beta program, enabling users with eligible devices to take the new firmware for a spin. We've already put together a detailed video with all One UI 8.5 features, but it appears that there are still some features that Samsung is keeping secret until the Galaxy S26 series arrives. Some information has surfaced about one of those features. One UI 8.5 could be on track to get more AI featuresAs revealed on X, Samsung hasn't revealed all of the AI features in the One UI 8.5 beta it has sent out because they're going to be exclusive to the Galaxy S26 series. The company would want to highlight those features at the Galaxy S26 launch event so it's likely that they may not be included in the beta releases until then. One of those features could be an AI notifications summary features. It's said to use Samsung's in-house Gauss AI model to provide a quick summary of all notifications users receive in the past 24 hours. It's also claimed that this feature was first supposed to be released with One UI 7 but wasn't included. This isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility. AI features increasingly get more time during Samsung's launch event these days. The company tends to keep them exclusive on the new Galaxy S series for a few months before releasing them for older devices. If that is indeed the case, then we may not see these features in the upcoming One UI 8.5 beta builds, at least not until the Galaxy S26 lineup is unveiled in February. Those features will then gradually trickle down to other devices when the stable version of One UI 8.5 is released next year. The post This is just one of the secret One UI 8.5 features that Samsung hasn’t shown yet appeared first on SamMobile.
