As part of measures to strengthen the activities of the urban local bodies of Kerala, the Local Self-Governments department has decided to make temporary contract appointments for one year in various posts.The new temporary posts are Environmental Engineer (30 vacancies), Mechanical Engineer (30 vacancies), Electrical Engineer (22 vacancies), Hydrologist (22 vacancies), Public Health Engineer (22 vacancies), Accountant (Special Cadre- 22 vacancies), Finance Officer (Special Cadre-22 vacancies). The temporary appointments for one year will be in urban local bodies across the State.
