The Authority for the Responsible Use of Cannabis has launched its Christmas safety campaign, calling on the public to avoid driving if they choose to use cannabis during the festive season.The campaign forms part of ARUC’s ongoing efforts to promote harm reduction and public safety, particularly at a time of year when social activity and travel increase.Scientific evidence shows that cannabis can impair judgement, coordination and reaction time, making driving under the influence both dangerous and illegal.
