Terminator: Survivors, once planned for release in 2024, has been delayed yet again and is now set to launch sometime after 2025.The game is in development at Nacon Studio Milan. Creative director Marco Ponte said the decision to delay the game was made "after months of internal testing," along with discussions from fans. As a result of these discussions, the developer also decided to cut multiplayer co-op from the game."We know this may come as a disappointment, but we believe it is the right creative direction for an uncompromising vision of the world after Judgment Day," Ponte said.Additionally, the developer canceled plans to launch the game as an early-access title. "We want your first steps into the wasteland to be a complete and polished experience," Ponte said.As for a new release date for Survivors, Ponte didn't have one to give, but the game will not be out in 2025. That was what many people guessed already, though, given the year is nearly through.Looking ahead, Nacon will conduct closed playtests in the time ahead--you can sign up here for a chance to get into a future test."We know expectations are high, and we can’t wait to show you what we've been working on. For now, I can only thank you for sticking with us as we do our absolute best to create a game worthy of the Terminator legacy," Ponte said.Terminator: Survivors was not the only Terminator game to be delayed this year, as Bitmap Bureau and Reef Entertainment delayed Terminator 2D: No Fate, but it finally came out on December 12.
